The Huns were actually nomadic central Asian people. In the middle of the 4th century A.D. they started to move westward. The Huns first defeated the Alani group and then conquered the Goths. By A.D. 450 the great Hun ruler, Attila “the Hun” gained control of a big part of eastern and central Europe.
The collapse of the Huns
After the death of Attila in A.D. 453, the servants and slaves of the Huns revolted against them and later defeated them. The Huns were then absorbed into the various peoples of Europe.
